With the help of the latest Intel® CPU technology, the IP-Projects Intel Bare-Metal Server delivers high single-thread performance and a real AI boost. In addition to the integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) as an AI accelerator, Intel® uses Intel® Arc™ GPUs as the CPU type, which have an integrated graphics function. New I/O interfaces also provide additional performance gains with NVMe-based storage and the use of DDR5 RAM.
This server line is particularly well suited for workloads that require high single-thread performance and for smaller AI applications that do not require a powerful graphics card.

Special features of Intel Performance dedicated servers
Intel bare-metal servers based on Intel® Core™ Ultra CPUs are a combination of server and desktop hardware. The Intel® Core™ Ultra CPU forms the desktop component, while all other server components of the Intel® Core™ Ultra servers consist of genuine server hardware such as IPMI-enabled Supermicro motherboards.
We have been using Intel® desktop CPUs in our dedicated server systems for several years now, as they offer a good price-performance ratio. For single-thread applications, enterprise CPUs are often too expensive as soon as they have comparatively high single-thread performance. A special feature of the new Intel® Core™ Ultra CPUs is the integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for AI workloads (AI Boost). This relieves both the CPU and GPU in tasks such as speech recognition, video processing, translation, and AI-generated content. It also supports CPU ray tracing and AV1 encoding.

Intel® Core™ Ultra servers are operated exclusively in highly certified data centers in Frankfurt am Main. This ensures a high standard of quality and physical security for the operation of dedicated Intel® servers.
Rapid Deployment
An Intel® Core™ Ultra Server can be delivered within 1-3 business days. If the components are not already in stock at IP-Projects, we use hardware that is available as standard from our distributors and therefore has a very short delivery time.

Thanks to our own server management environment, you always have an overview of your Intel® Performance Dedicated Server. The server management provides you with numerous useful tools, such as automatic installation of your server or protection of the IPMI service through a KVMM proxy.
DDoS Protection
As with various other products, we also offer free DDoS protection with basic protection for our Intel® Core™ Ultra Dedicated Servers! If required, this can also protect special services, such as game servers, for a small additional charge. If you buy cheap, you buy twice! We rely exclusively on tested brand-name hardware that has proven itself in continuous operation. With the exception of the CPU, we use only server components that are suitable for continuous operation. This allows us to significantly reduce failure rates with our Intel® Core™ Ultra Bare-Metal servers.
100% Green Electricity
Each of our data center locations has a green electricity certificate. This guarantees that the electricity is generated from renewable sources, such as hydro or wind power.
Guaranteed Bandwidth
We guarantee that the network bandwidth you have booked for your Intel® server will always be available without restriction. We do not use any throttling mechanisms that automatically limit network ports or network traffic. For example, if you book a gigabit port, you will receive the full gigabit bandwidth of our network at all times!
Upgrade possible at any time
During the ordering process, we offer a wide range of expansion options for our Intel® Performance Server products. These expansions are available to you throughout the entire lifetime of the server. However, replacement of the CPU is not possible; upgrades can only be carried out for server components such as SSDs or RAM.
Installable Operating Systems
We offer the following Linux dedicated server operating systems via automatic installation on our performance dedicated servers. If you cannot find an operating system in the overview, an ISO installation is available.

The administration of our servers is done via our self-developed server administration. Installation, reboots, monitoring, IP management and traffic analysis become a breeze.
Our co-user administration also allows your colleagues quick access to all servers. The shared servers and permissions can be set separately for each co-user.'
For installation we offer all common operating systems. Either as automatic installation, or manual installation with SSH/VNC access. If we don't have your desired operating system in our offer, you can use our ISO installer, or contact our support to extend our automatic installations.
In case of problems or misconfigurations, you can temporarily start a non-invasive rescue system. This resides exclusively in memory and allows SSH access to your server and the data on it.
For our servers we rely on hardware with IPMI support. IPMI can also be queried directly in our server administration. So you have all important system parameters of your server always available. Even reboots are possible without any problems in case of emergency.
You also have full visibility at the network level. We provide a detailed overview of your server system's traffic usage. Grouping multiple servers into a collective traffic pool—for example, for analysis purposes—is also possible.

What are Intel Core Ultra CPUs?
Intel Core Ultra is a new processor series from Intel based on the Meteor Lake architecture. It combines classic x86 cores with efficiency cores, integrated AI acceleration (NPU), modern iGPU, and high energy efficiency.
What are servers with Intel Ultra CPUs suitable for?
The Intel Ultra CPUs used in our Intel Performance Servers are particularly suitable for the following areas of application:
- Edge computing & AI workloads (e.g., through integrated NPU)
- Container hosting & virtualization (e.g., with Proxmox as hypervisor)
- Applications with mixed workloads (e.g., Nextcloud / Seafile + database)
- Development & test environments
- Office/web servers with AI support (Open AI)
Are Intel Ultra CPUs stable enough for server use?
Yes – especially if they are installed in systems or data center variants designed for this purpose.
Can an Intel Performance Server also be equipped with a 10 Gigabit/s network?
Yes, the upgrade function to 10 Gigabit/s is available as an option during the ordering process. Redundancy is always provided by two 10 G ports. Like our 1 Gigabit/s ports, these can also be configured as active-passive bonds or as LACP.
Do Intel Performance Dedicated Servers have an IPMI/KVM console?
Yes – all servers have remote management (IPMI, KVM over IP). You can perform BIOS access, hardware monitoring, reboots, or installations even outside the operating system – ideal for system administrators. The IPMI console is also protected by a KVMM proxy and is therefore not permanently available via the Internet. Our server management provides the temporary proxy for direct access to the IPMI.
Who manages the Intel Ultra rental server?
The servers are delivered in an unmanaged model – you receive full root access to your Intel Dedicated Server. We offer optional server management, where we take care of maintenance, monitoring, patching, and security.
How quickly can an Intel Performance Server be made available?
An Intel Ultra Server is usually delivered within 1-3 business days, provided that the respective system is not available from stock.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, basic protection against DDoS attacks (Layer 3/4) can be added to our Intel servers free of charge. For particularly vulnerable applications (e.g., game servers, APIs), advanced DDoS filters or Geo-IP blocking can be added. These features are available with our Silver/Gold DDoS Protection packages.
In which data center are the servers located?
The Intel Ultra Servers are located in a highly certified data center in Frankfurt am Main, one of Europe's most important Internet hubs. The infrastructure meets the highest requirements:
- Location in Germany (GDPR-compliant)
- Certifications such as ISO 27001, EN 50600, Tier III or higher
- Redundant power and network connection
- 24/7 access control, video surveillance, fire protection systems
Can I configure the server individually?
Yes – RAM, storage, network connections, and IP addresses can all be configured individually. Special requests (e.g., specific OS, GPU, additional data carriers) can also be accommodated upon request by contacting our customer support team. The only limitation is the maximum configuration of 4 RAM slots per motherboard and 8 3.5-inch bays on the side of the case.
